Western lifestyle photography is probably my absolute favorite thing to shoot. Don’t get me wrong I love photographing children and families, but there is just something about the cowboy lifestyle that fascinates and captures my heart. I had the privilege of shooting at a branding this past weekend, and I am loving what I got, combined with some simple and refined editing (which literally made a ton of difference, thank you Wendi) and it’s magic.

It’s Valentines Day and I have mixed feelings for today. On one hand, it’s a great excuse to bake cookies, write mushy love notes and go shopping, but really, shouldn’t we tell the ones we love, how special they are, how much they mean to us and how in love we are with them, every day, or at least on a weekly basis?!?
Since today is all about showing our love, I’ve got a little special gift for all my wonderful clients as well. For today, and until Friday, you can pick up the digital copies of your sessions for a very, very discounted price. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can purchase, the more you stock up on, the more you save.
This special is for sessions held in 2011 and prior. After Friday, all past sessions will be sent to the archives. Payments must be made by 5pm, Friday, 2/17/2012. Discs will be sent out on February 27th. Orders should be sent to me via email.

I have been asked several times about the ability to purchase some of the more artsy, scenic images I have posted. Yes, yes you may purchase these types of prints. I am always happy to do a custom listing for you and I am beyond happy to announce that you will be able to purchase selected images in my new store front.
These are the current images there, but I will be adding more as time allows. You can purchase, just prints, framed prints and fine art canvases of all the images in my gallery.

Well, it’s birthday week at our house. In fact it’s birthday month, within 30 days we have 4 birthdays in our household. This week though, it’s time to celebrate the little princesses. 5 years ago, I became a mother for the very first time, it’s hard to believe that, yes, it really has been 5 years already.
Goodness, where did the time go.
Just 2 short years after that we welcomed our second baby girl.
They are growing up so fast. They are smart, funny, and often times in trouble. They come by all that sass naturally though, but they MUST have inherited that from their father (wink, wink).
I love watching them grow-up, although bittersweet, and sometimes I want them to just stay little, but am so proud of the little humans that they are becoming.
